Halloweeness

Now that summer is starting to cool down into a somewhat more tolerable phase, I am already looking forward to October and all of its wonderfulness! Don't get me wrong - September isn't to be overlooked, but I have so many things to look forward to during the month of Halloween.

First of all, it's my hubby's 25th birthday. We're taking a trip to Arkansas to stay in a Bed & Breakfast for a couple of days. It should be beautiful there this time of year...I love the changing of the leaves. And secondly, we should get to find out the sex of the baby! I'll be around 20 weeks along by the time mid-October approaches, so I'm going in for the big ultrasound! And thirdly, I mustn't forget about Halloween. Taylor and I will be passing out candy again this year to the cute little neighbor kids. Who knows? We may even dress up this year. I have a great idea for a costume (you may see it in future posts).

But for now, I've been pouring my Halloween/October excitement into my artwork. I've started listing more fall-themed items in my Etsy shop! My favorite has to be my Halloweenie Dachshund greeting card :) Check it out in my shop here.

  1. Your greeting cards are printed so nicely! Do you mind me asking what machine you use? I have Epson Artisan 50 and it is good only for certain types of paper.

  2. No problem! I use a Canon PIXMA Pro9000. It's an inkjet, which I really think helps make the colors pop so well. It works great on textured papers.

  3. This is exactly what I was expected from my epson inkjet, but for these four days I own it I could say I am a little dissapointed. It print well only on a glossy photo paper, on the matt paper prints come out sort of washed out :(

    Thank you for answer!
