Sunrise.

It's easy to get wrapped up in your daily routine - so much so that you forget to look up sometimes.

It was a typical weekday morning, hectic and rushed due to a post office trip, and I was at my vanity applying some much-needed makeup. That's when a small sliver of sunlight drifted through the window, drawing my attention to the sky.

The sunrise was so beautiful! I had to capture it. I dashed to my office for the Nikon and rushed outside in my pajamas to snap a few shots. The grass was dewy. The air was crisp. The birds were chirping. It was perfection.
